The Media Council of Mongolia (MCM) and the Press Arbitration Commission of the Republic of Korea (PAC) met on June 21, 2024. G. Gunjidmaa, Executive Director of the MCM; Kim Eunjeong, Secretary General of the PAC; Lee Yoon Jeong, Deputy Director of the Public Relations Department of the PAC; and Dr. Kim Juyeon, Director of the Research and Education Center of the PAC, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, G. Gunjidmaa, Executive Director of the MCM, shared about the initiative and formation of Mongolian media self-regulation and its future. As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed that it’s possible to develop cooperation among Southeast Asian countries through mutual experience and joint discussions on media development and self-regulation of ethics.
